Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami called a fresh countrywide dawn to dusk hartal. Jamaat demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all national leaders including Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman, withdrawal of Awami subservient election schedule, the formation of caretaker government, the resignation of incumbent Awami fascist government, control of price hike of daily essentials, protesting the court’s unjust verdict on the party’s registration case.
A number of Jamat-Shibir men were present on the procession.
“Awami League government is making plots to turn the country into a failed state but people reject their plots. People will not leave the street until the caretaker government system is established,” Mr. Sarker added.
