Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and Dhaka City North secretary Dr. Muhannad Rezaul Karim urged all irrespective of party affiliation and thought to come to the street to oust the illegal and murderer government.
He today morning said while speaking at a post-procession rally in the capital. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North organized the procession protesting the misuse of judiciary, the climate of enforced disappearance, and killing innocent people through assassination.
The procession started from Rampura Bazar and ended in Malibagh Abul Hotel with a short rally. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central Mojlish-e-Shura member and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North Mahfuzur Rahman, Dr Fakharuddin Manik, Jamaat Dhaka City North working committee member Ziaul Hasan, Jamal Uddin, Maulana Muhibullah, Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker, student leader Salahuddin and others were present on the procession.
“Failing to address the ongoing movement on the streets politically, morally and ideologically, the fascist Hasina is using the judiciary as a tool to suppress the opposition but people rejected Hasina’s plot,” added Rezaul Karim.
Jamaat Dhaka City North secretary warned that those involved in enforced disappearance, assassination, torture, detention, intimidation, would be tried in the people’s court.
“People will not take part in any election under this Awami subservient election commission. Elections must be held under the caretaker government,” he further added.
This Jamaat leader demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all opposition party leaders and activists including Jamaat Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman, BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, Jamaat Secretary general and former lawmaker professor Mia Gulam Parwer, assistant secretary general ATM Azharul Islam, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Jamaat Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin, BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
