Jamaat activists brought out processions supporting the ongoing blockade program in different parts of the capital. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is observing a fresh 48-hour countrywide blockade program from Sunday morning. Jamaat called the nationwide blockade program demanding the resignation of incumbent fascist government, release of party leaders, activists, Islamic scholars including Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, control of price hike of essentials, withdrawal of Awami subservient election schedule and reinstatement of party registration.
‘Government is making plots for holding an another one-sided farcical election. But people will not let their daydream succeed,’ according to sources.
Jamaat activists demanded the immediate resignation of incumbent fascist government.
Government has failed to face Jamaat ideologically and politically for this, they have cancelled Jamaat’s registration. An inclusive election is impossible except the caretaker government.
