Bangladesh Jamat-e-Islami central Mojlish-e-Shura member and assistant secretary of Dhaka City North Mahfuzur Rahman said, “Valiant people have come down to streets to oust the BaKSAL government. They will not leave the street until the caretaker government system is established.”
He urged the government to immediately hand over power to a caretaker government otherwise they should be left with disgrace.
He today said these while speaking at a post-procession rally in Mirpur of the capital. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is observing the countrywide 2-day blockade program demanding the resignation of incumbent fascist government, formation of election-time caretaker government, withdrawal of one-sided election schedule, release of its party leaders and activists including Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member advocate Abdul Hamid, Abdur Rakib, Jasim Uddin, Biplob, student leader Hisham, Imran, Mahdi and many others were also present on the procession.
‘The Awami government in a planned way has cancelled the registration of Jamaat. They failed to face Jamaat ideologically and politically,’ Mahfuzur Rahman further added.
Jamaat activists observed the blockade program at Mohakhali rail gate area in the capital. They brought out a procession supporting the ongoing blockade program.
