Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North working committee member Nasir Uddin said, “Bangladesh Krishak Sramik Awami League (BaKSAL) supporters are playing a suicidal game with Bangladesh. They stand the position against Bangladesh, sovereignty and nationhood. People are working together to protect Bangladesh, and its existence.”
Jamaat leader Nasir Uddin demanded the immediate resignation of the incumbent fascist government. He also urged the government to hand over power to a caretaker government otherwise the government has to pay high.
He today said these while addressing at a post-procession protest rally held in Mirpur. Pallabi zone of Jamaat Dhaka City North brought out a procession supporting the ongoing blockade program in the capital. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is observing the countrywide 2-day blockade program demanding the resignation of incumbent fascist government, formation of election-time caretaker government, withdrawal of one-sided election schedule, release of its party leaders and activists including Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member Saiful Kader, Abu Hanif, Jubayer Hossain Rajon, Musharaf Hossain, youth leader Hasanul Banna Chapal and many others were also present on the procession.
‘The Election Commission is a constitutional institution. They elect public representatives by holding a free, fair, credible and inclusive election but they have already been turned into a farcical institution,’ he further added.
Jamaat Tejgaon-Hatirjheel Zone activists brought out a procession supporting the nationwide 48-hour blockade program. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member Maulana Aminul Islam led the procession. Abu Tansif Mondal, Jamaat leader Abu Junaira, Jawadul Karim, labor leader Akter Hossain, student leader Tafhim, Asiful Haque, Ismail Chowdhury and many others were also present on the procession.

Jamaat Mirpur zone activists brought a procession supporting the ongoing nationwide blockade program at Mirpur area in the capital. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member Mohammad Nakib led the procession.
