Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North working committee member Nasir Uddin said, “People have come down to streets demanding for the withdrawal of AL’s subservient election schedule, and establishing caretaker government system. They will not leave the streets until the mass demand caretaker government system is established.”
He today said these while speaking at a post-procession protest rally at Pallabi area in the capital. Pallabi zone of Jamaat Dhaka City North organized the procession supporting the ongoing hartal called by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member Abu Hanif, Jubayer Hossain Rajon, Mushararaf Hossain, youth leader Hasanul Banna Chapal and many others were also present on the procession.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is observing a 48-hour hartal across the country for November 19 and November 20 to press home their one-point demand and protesting at announcement of next general election schedule by the Election Commission.
‘The midnight elected government wants to come to office by holding a fraud election again. People will spoil their dream through mass movement,’ added Nasir Uddin.
He urged the government to immediately hand over power to a caretaker government.

Jamaat held a protest demonstration supporting the ongoing hartal at Kallyanpur Bus Stand area in the capital. Advocate Abdur Rakib, Jasim Uddin, Biplob, Azhar, student leader Hisham and faham and many others were also present on the demonstration.
