Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central Mojlish-e-Shura member and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North Mahfuzur Rahman said, “Government has engaged in a deep conspiracy. Their Election Commission wants to announce the election schedule ignoring people’s demand for the formation of election-time caretaker government. But people will fail their conspiracy.”
He urged the government to immediately hand over power to caretaker government.
Mahfuzur Rahman today said these while speaking at a pro-procession rally in the capital. Mirpur Zone of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North brought out a procession supporting the countrywide 2-day long blockade program. The procession was started from Mirpur-1. Mahfuzur Rahman led the procession. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member advocate Abdul Hamid, Abdur Rakib, Jasim Uddin, Al-Amin, Biplop, student leader Fahad, Mehedi Hasan, and others were also present on the procession.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is observing a countrywide 2-day long blockade program to press home the demands for the establishment of caretaker government system, release of its party leaders, activists, Islamic scholars including Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, resignation of incumbent fascist government, and control of price hike of essentials.
“The government has turned the country into a Hell. They are ruling the nation in a fascist way. People are unable to practice freedom of expression. They have deprived people from voting right. They are using the law enforcement agencies for ill-motif,” added Mahfuzur Rahman.
Jamaat Kafrul activists observed the blockade program in Kafrul area of the capital. They brought out a procession supporting the countrywide 2-day long blockade program. Jamaat Dhaka City North assistant secretary Dr. Fakharuddin Manik led the procession. Jamaat Dhaka City North working committee member Tutul, Alauddin Mollah, labor leader Mizanur Rahman, Shura member Abdul Matin Khan, Abu Tayeb, Ahasan Habib, Atique Hasan and others were also present on the procession.
Jamaat activists observed the blockade program at Abdullah area of the capital. They brought out a procession supporting the ongoing blockade. Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member Jamaal Uddin led the procession. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member S Alam, Abdullah Sadik, M Rahman, Abu Mushab, student leader Zulkarnain and many others were also present on the procession.
Uttara zone activists of Jamaat Dhaka City North observed the blockade program at Uttara area in the capital. Jamaat Dhaka City North working committee member Abu Farhan led the procession.
Jamaat observed the blockade program at Badda area in the capital. They brought out a procession supporting the ongoing blockade. Maulana Kutub Uddin led the procession.
