Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central Mojlish-e-Shura member Mohammad Jamal Uddin said, “If the farce election schedule is announced, it will be resisted and a robust form of movement will be launched all over the country. This blockade program will be continued until the fascist government resigns.”
He urged the government to immediately resign from office.
He today said these while addressing at a post-procession rally at airport area of the capital. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North brought out a procession supporting today’s blockade program at airport area in the capital. Abu Mushab, M A Haque Mollah, A H Shanewas Bipul and many others were also present on the procession.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is observing a nationwide 2-day blockade program to press home the demands for establishing caretaker government system, release of party leaders-activists, Islamic scholars including Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, control of price hike of essentials.
“The government in a planned way has destroyed democracy and democratic institutions of the country. They have abolished the caretaker government system. They have turned the country into a failed state. They have deprived the nation from fundamental rights,” Jamaat leader further added.
He urged to the government to hand over power to caretaker government.
