Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman said, “Government, in a planned way, has destroyed all democratic institutions of the country. The caretaker government system should be established by a strong form of movement and the country should be rebuilt.”
He today afternoon said these as the chief guest while speaking at a prayer program in the capital for the dead and injured in the ongoing movement. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North organized the program. Jamaat Dhaka City North acting Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa chaired the program. Secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim conducted it. Quari Lukman Hossain recited the Holy Quran. Jamaat Dhaka City North Nayeb-e-Ameer Engineer Golum Mustafa, Jamaat central Mojlish-e-Shura member and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North Mahfuzur Rahman, Nazim Uddin Mollah, Dr. Fakharuddin Manik and others were present on the program.
At the end of discussion, they prayed to Allah for whose who were killed, injured and arrested during blockade program.
“Our constitution is secular but we are unable to practice the ideals of Islam. Bangladesh is a democratic country but we are unable to practice freedom of expression. All constitutional institutions have been destroyed. The servants of the state are supporting Awami League. They cannot establish good governance and justice in the state. History says oppressors become defeated and the oppressed victorious,” added Jamaat Ameer.
‘Jamaat top leaders were judicially killed,’ Mujibur Rahman further added.
He urged the countrymen to take part in the ongoing mass movement.
‘Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had to face difficulties to spread Islam. So, we have to be patient,’ Jamaat Dhaka City North Nayeb-e-Ameer Engineer Golum Mustafa added.
“Fascist government has killed 11 Jamaat activists. They will get retribution in the next,” added Dr. Rezaul Karim.
‘The government is misusing the state organs. We have to make the ongoing program successful,’ Abdur Rahman Musa added as the chair.
