Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central Mojlish-e-Shura member and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North Dr. Fakharuddin Manik said, “The incumbent fascist government has to pay a high price for obstinacy. Awami League has cancelled the caretaker government system for establishing one-party rule BaKSAL. They have destroyed democracy and democratic values of the country.”
“Accepting the mass demand of caretaker government, the ruling government must be resigned,” added Mr. Manik.
He today said these while speaking at a post-procession rally in Mirpur. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is observing a countrywide 2-day blockade program on vehicle movement on road, rail and waterway across the country to press home the demands for establishing caretaker government system, release of its leaders, activists and religious scholars including Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, protesting police action in the grand rally on October 28, violence and mayhem of the ruling party goons, control of price hike of essentials.
Police arrested a Jamaat activist. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islmi Dhaka City North working committee member and Mirpur thana east Ameer Tutul, Alauddin Mollah, Shibir Dhaka City West secretary Salauddin Mahmud, Mahmudullah Riad, Labor leader Mizanur Rahman, Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member Abdul Matin Khan, professor Anuarul Karim, Dr. Ahasan Habib, Jamaat leader Musab Muhaimin, Atique Hasan, Ashique, Ali Hasan, Ashiqur Rahman, Golum Rabbani, Anis, Jakir, Parosh and others were also present on the procession.
Jamaat leader Dr. Fakharuddin Manik demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
Jamaat observed blockade program at Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road
Jamaat activists blocked the Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road supporting the 2-day blockade program. Jamaat Dhaka City North working committee member Ataur Rahman Sarker led the procession. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member Noman Ahamodi, M Abdullah, Alauddin, former student leader Kalim Ullah, Farid Ahammad and others were also present on the procession.
Jamaat activists observed the blockade program at Mirpur-10. Jamaat Dhaka City North working committee member Nasir Uddin led the procession. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member Ashraful Alam, Saiful Kader, Abu Hanif, Jamaat leader Jubayer Hossain Rajon, Musharaf Hossain, youth leader Hasanul Banna Chapal, student leader Mohammad Taiyan, Abdul Kader and others were also present on the procession.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central Mojlish-e-Shura member Mohammad Abu Farhan led the procession. Many leaders and activists were present on the procession.
Jamaat activists blocked Uttara-Abdullahpur Beribhad area in capital.
They demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. Jamaat Dhaka City North working committee member Jamal Uddin led the procession. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member S Alam, Abu Musab, Sheikh Nizamuddin, former student leader Mehedi Hasan, student leader Zulkarnain and others were also present on the procession.

They demanded the unconditional release of Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, the formation of election-time caretaker government, control of price hike of essentials. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member and Mohammadpur thana south Ameer Maulana Shakhaout Hossain and others were also present on the program.
