Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member and secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North warned the government that no election will be held without caretaker government.
He today said these while the activists of Jamaat Dhaka City North were observing rail line blockade program at Uttara in the capital. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is observing a countrywide three-day blockade program on vehicle movement on road, rail and waterway across the country to press home the demands for establishing caretaker government system, release of its leaders, activists and religious scholars including Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, protesting police action in the grand rally on October 28, violence and mayhem of the ruling party goons, control of price hike of essentials. The complete blockade program has started from October 31 and will continue to November 2.
Jamal Uddin, working committee member of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Jamaat leader Mahbubul Alam, Mazharul Islam, Mahfuzur Rahman and others were also present on the program.
City secretary demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Secretary General Mia Golum Parwer and City Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin.
“This fascist government should be ousted and caretaker government system should be established,” added Rezaul Karim.
Jamaat observed blockade program at Shewrapara
Jamaat activists observed blockade program at Shewrapara. Jamaat Dhaka City North assistant secretary Mahfuzur Rahman led the procession. They observed this program as part of the central program. Jamaat Dhaka City North assistant secretary Dr. Fakharuddin Manik, Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member Abu Nakib, Abdul Awal Azam, advocate Abdul Hamid, advocate Abdur Rakib and others were also present on the program.
Blockade program at Mohakhali-Tejgaon rail line
Activists of Jamaat Hatirjheel-Tejgaon zone observed a three-day blockade program. Publicity & Media secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker led the procession. Jamaat Dhaka City North Mojlish-e-Shura member Aminul Islam, advocate Zillur Rahman, Alauddin, former student leader Kalim Ullah, Monir Ahammed, student leader Nazim Uddin and others were also present on the procession.
Blockade program at Turag
Jamaat Turag thana activists observed blockade program as part of the central program. Mohibullah, president of Labor Welfare Federation of Jamaat Dhaka City North, led the procession.

Jamaat Mohammadpur thana activists blocked the Mohammadpur area of the capital. Mohammadpur west thana Ameer Dr.Shafiur Rahman led the procession. Mohammadpur east thana Ameer Moshiur Rahman, Mohammadpur west thana secretary Masuduzzaman and many were present on the procession.
Jamaat Rupnagar thana activists held a procession supporting the ongoing blockade program declared by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Zone coordinator Mohammad Nasir Uddin, Pallabi thana north Ameer Maulana Saiful Kader, youth leader Hasanul Banna Chapal, Pallabi middle thana secretary Zobeyer Hossain RajonPallabi thana north secretary Mohiuddin, Rupnagar thana secretary Musharaf Hossain, and shibir leaders were present on the procession.
