“The fascist Awami League has cancelled the caretaker government system from the constitution. They have destroyed the democracy and democratic values of the country. They arranged a fraud election in 2014 where 154 candidates were elected without votes. They again arranged a midnight election in 2018. They want to arrange a fraud election again. For this, they are making conspiracies. But the conscious people of the country will not let their conspiracy succeed,” Abdur Rahman further added.
He again urged the government to hand over power to caretaker government avoiding all forms of conspiracies.
“Bangladesh is a democratic country. The people of the country are not autocratic. Public administration and law enforcers are the servants of the republic. They cannot barricade the political program of the opposition. But a group of police men behaves like master of the state,” Jamaat leader added.
He warned the government not to take action against mass people. Don’t harass the peaceful people. A police officer has dishonored his uniformed by making remarks out of his duty.
He urged the administration to obey their duties according to laws. Otherwise, they have to be accountable to people for violation of laws.
“28 October is related to emotions. The day inspires us. 35 brothers were martyred on October 28, 2006. We have no scope for retreating from Shapla Chhattar grand rally,” city secretary added.
He urged all to come down to streets to out this fascist government.
