Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa called upon the government, political and social organizations including wealthy people to come forward to stand for the side of underprivileged and marginalized people of the society to turn the country free from hunger and poverty.
He today (on Saturday) said as the chief guest while distributing sewing machines and vans among the underprivileged and marginalized people in the capital. Kafrul thana north of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North arranged the event. Acting Ameer distributed sewing machines and Rickshaws-vans from the side of Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
Thana Ameer Mohammad Mahmudul Hasan presided over the event. Laskar Mohammad Taslim spoke as the special guest in the event. Jamaat Dhaka City North assistant secretary dr. Fakharuddin Manik was also present aas the special guest. Thana secretary Hafez Ashiqur Rahman, Jamaat leader Mohammad Parash and others were also present in the event.
“If the people of the country become self-reliant, the country will also be sels-reliant. A prosperous nation refers to a prosperous country. Jamaat has been working tirelessly for the sake of humanity since its establishment. Jamaat Ameer dr. Shafiqur Rahman has become the nominee of this constituency and he has taken some development plans of this area. Jamaat has been trying to make the country into a welfare state,” city Ameer added.
He urged everyone to work together under the flag of Jamaat.
