Jamaat distributed sewing machines and hand cash for employment

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa said, “Jamaat is a pro-people and ideological political organization. It has been trying its best to make marginalized people self- reliant.”
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing sewing machines and hand cash among marginalized people at an auditorium in the capital. Bhashantek thana of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the event. Thana Ameer Dr. Muhammad Ahasan Habib presided over the event. Thana secretary Hafez Ali Hossain conducted it. Jamaat leader SS Reza, Ikbal Hossain Khan, Sirazul Islam and others were also present in the event.
“The price of daily essentials has gone out of control due to government’s failure and unbridled corruption. As a result, it has been created mass sufferings. As a pro-people political organization, Jamaat has been working for the sake of people. Jamaat stress on Halal earnings,” city Ameer added.
“The government is torturing and oppressing the opposition leaders and activists. The government has detached from people. They have targeted the Jamaat-Shibir leaders and activists for this. Jamaat leaders and activists are being arrested completely unjustly across the country including Dhaka city. The government has arrested 15 Jamaat activists from different parts of Dhaka city,” he also added.
Abdur Rahman Musa demanded the resignation of this government.
