Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami acting Ameer and former MP professor Mujibur Rahman urged the government, political parties, donor agencies and wealthy people of the society to come forward to assist the fire affected traders of Mohammadpur Krishi Market.
He today Saturday at 12:00pm said these as the chief guest while distributing hand cashes among the fire affected traders. Jamaat Ameer also visited the area.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa presided over the event. Dr. Fakharuddin Manik, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Ziaul Hasan and others were also present in the event.
Jamaat is a pro-people, welfare, democratic and idealist political organization. The purpose of Jamaat politics is to serve the country and the nation.
“Allah tests the believers with fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits; but give glad tidings to the patient. It is related to fate. The loss of wealth is not the major loss. We have to believe in fortune. We have to try to establish Salat ( five times prayer in a day). Men have to command the good and forbid the evil and be patient. It, then, will be possible to establish a hunger, poverty and exploitation free country,” Jamaat Ameer also added.
“If the country would be an Islamic welfare state, there was a disaster fund based on Jakat. The affected people would get necessary aids from that fund. Though the country has a relief fund, it doesn’t work for the welfare of common people, rather it ends with looting. There is no alternative but to establish a society based on justice for the welfare and economic freedom of mass people,” professor Mujibur Rahman further added.
Jamaat acting Ameer urged all to work together for the establishment of a peaceful society.
