Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa and secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Allama Delaware Hossain Saydee, an artful orator, former MP, Nayeb-e-Ameer of the party and one of the most famous leaders of world Islamic movement.
‘The Muslim nation has lost a renowned person at the death of Allama Delaware Hossain Saydee. He served the Holy Quran more than 50 years. He visited many countries for this. Many non-believers accepted Islam hearing Maulana Saydee’s explanation of the Holy Quran. His contributions will be remembered. He spent his youth in spreading Dawah and last days in prison’, city leaders added.
This Islamic preacher struggled his entire life for the purpose of establishing Islam. Government’s oppression and torture could not deviate him from the path of Islam. A controversial court sentenced Maulana Delaware Hossain Saydee to jail until his death. His death left a very painful and irreparable void for the world Islamic movement; which is not easily fulfilled, issuing a condolence message, they further added.
Maulana Delaware Hossain Saydee passed away on August 14 at around 8:40 pm at the PG hospital of the capital (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun).
May Allah (SW) forgive him, bless him and grant him the highest Paradise(Jannat). May Allah (SW) accept his death as martyrdom. Ameen.
They urge the countrymen to face the situation with patience and courage. They also called upon the countrymen to complete his incomplete works. They pray for eternal peace of the departed soul and convey deep sympathy to the bereaved family members, well-wishers and supporters.
