Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami acting Ameer and former MP professor Mujibur Rahman expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Allama Delaware Hossain Saydee, an artful orator, former MP and Nayeb-e-Ameer.
Issuing a condolence message, Jamaat Ameer today on August 14 said these.
‘I inform you with deep shock and sorrow that Allama Delaware Hossain Saydee, one of the most powerful leaders of world Islamic movement, Islamic preacher, scholar, mufassir, thinker and Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, passed away at around 8:40 pm on August 14 at the PG hospital of Dhaka (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun)’. Jamaat acting Ameer added.
Allama Delaware Hossain Saydee served the Holy Quran more than 50 years. He visited many countries for this. Many non-believers accepted Islam hearing Maulana Saydee’s explanation of the Holy Quran. His contributions will be remembered. He spent his youth in spreading Dawah and last days in prison.
This Islamic preacher struggled his entire life for the purpose of establishing Islam. Government’s oppression and torture cannot deviate him from the path of Islam. He was sentenced to lifetime prison by a fake, false and fabricated case. It was clear injustice on him. His death is painful for the supporters of world Islamic movement.
May Allah (SW) forgive him, bless him and grant him the highest Paradise(Jannat). May Allah (SW) accept his death as martyrdom. Ameen.
‘I urge the countrymen to face the situation with patience and courage. I called upon the countrymen to complete his incomplete works. I pray for eternal peace of the departed soul and convey deep sympathy to the bereaved family members, well-wishers and supporters’, Jamaat Ameer added.
His burial prayer time (Namaj-e-Janaja) will be informed soon In-Sha-Allah.
