Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim said, “Labor-public unity should be formed to succeed the rally.”
Dr. Rezaul Karim said these as the chief guest while speaking at a preparation meeting at an auditorium in the capital. Bangladesh Labor Welfare Federation of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the preparation meeting.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami will hold a rally at the north gate premises of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on August 1 to press home the demands for establishing election-time caretaker government, release of national leaders including Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, control of price hike of essentials.
Muhammad Muhibullah, president of Labor Welfare Federation of Jamaat Dhaka City North, presided over the meeting. Mizanul Haque, vice-president of Jamaat Dhaka City North of the Federation, assistant secretary professor Abdul Halim, Hossain Ahammad, Sultan Mahmud, Abu Rayhan, Mizanur Rahman and others were also present.
‘The ruling government is not elected by people. They are not the representatives of people. Inflation has broken all past records. The government has no accountabilities to people,’ city secretary added.
‘This BAKSaL government has killed top Jamaat leaders. They have come to power by rigging votes,’ he further added.
He urged the city residents to join the August 1 Dhaka rally.
