Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim urged the city residents to come to streets to show no-confidence to fascist government. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami will hold a rally at the north gate premises of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on August 1 to press home the demands for establishing election-time caretaker government, release of its leaders including Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, control of price hike of essentials.
He called upon the city residents to succeed the August 1 Dhaka rally.
He today said these as the chief guest while addressing at a virtual member (rokon) and unit fellow-brother meeting at an auditorium in the capital. Hatirjheel zone of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North organised the meeting. Hemayet Hossain, Hatirjheel zone director and member of working committee of Jamaat Dhaka City North, presided over the meeting. Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker, member of working committee of Jamaat Dhaka City North and assistant director of Hatirjheel zone, conducted it. Dr. Habibur Rahman, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura, was the special guest. Advocate Zillur Rahman, member of Mojlish-e-Shura of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Maulana Aminul Islam, Engineer Noman Ahamedi, Hafes Ahsanullah, Alauddin, Abu Tanzil and others were also present in the meeting.
‘The prices of daily essentials are increasing day by day. They have taken away the franchise. A form of strong movement should be formed against this fascist government,’ city secretary added.
We should remain united to oust this illegal government.
‘They have imprisoned veteran politician Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and city Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin,’ Rezaul Karim further added.
He demanded the immediate and unconditional release of national leaders including Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and city Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin.
