Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North and South held a joint-coordination meeting at an auditorium of the capital on 25 July Thursday to succeed for August 1 Dhaka rally at the premises of the north gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. They will hold the rally in Dhaka city on August 1 to press home the demands for establishing caretaker government, release of its leaders, national leaders, Islamic scholars and preachers including Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, control of price hike of essentials.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South Ameer and member of central executive council Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the meeting. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa, Jamaat Dhaka City South secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Jamaat Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim, Delwar Hossain, member of central Shura committee and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City South, Kamal Hossain, Dr. Abdul Mannan, Nazim Uddin Mollah, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, dr. Fakharuddin Manik, Professor Mukararam Hossain, member of working committee of Jamaat Dhaka City South, Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker, Maulana Muhibullah and others were also present in the meeting.
‘Government has failed to lead the country. They have imprisoned top Jamaat leaders including Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. They have cancelled the caretaker government system to prolong their illegal power,’ Nurul Islam Bulbul added.
He urged the city residents to join the peaceful rally to press home the demands for establishing caretaker government, release of national leaders, Islamic scholars and preachers including Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, control of price hike of essentials.
