Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa said, “When oppression, torture, anarchy and sins in a country are increased, when people don not protest these bad deeds, Allah causes natural disasters and epidemic to make people aware.”
He called upon all to pray to Almighty Allah to face the challenge of dengue fever with patience, courage and consciousness. 
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing mosquito nets, coils and leaflets among poor people at an event of Jamaat Kafrul thana north in the capital. Kafrul thana north of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North organized the event. Thana Ameer Rezaul Karim presided over the event. Dr. Fakharuddin Manik, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, was the the special guest in the event. Thana secretary Ashiqur Rahman, thana youth leader Shahidullah Bepary, thana youth secretay Parash Abdullah, social welfare secretay Dr. Jainul Abedin, Jamaat leader Sirajul Islam Sarder, Rafiqul Islam, Nazmul Huda and others were also present in the event.
‘The severity of dengue fever has been increased due to government and city corporations’ failure. So, we have to more aware. Only Allah can save us from this epidemic. We have to make our surroundings neat and clean. If we infect, we have to doctors’ prescriptions. We have to take liquid foods more and more,’ he further added.
He called upon the government, wealthy people of the society, NGOs, service institutions including party leaders and activists to work together to deal with the menace of dengue fever.
“Veteran politician Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has been imprisoned for a long time for demanding the re-establishment of election-time caretaker government system. He is a popular physician. He works for the sake of humanity. He is Jamaat nominated candidate for this constituency in the upcoming national elections. We are distributing these on behalf of him. Government has also imprisoned city Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin,” city actinf Ameer added.
He demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all national leaders including Jamaat Ameer dr. Shafiqur Rahman and city Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin.
