“Eid al-Adha is the bright sign of acid test of Ibrahim and Ismail (A.S). The story of self-secrifice of father and son has made us memorable. Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) left before his wife and son in the uninhibited wilderness of the desert only for the sake of Allah. We have to invite people more to the path of Allah by taking teachings from the sacrifice of Ibrahim and Ismail (A.S). We have to spread the light of Islam to every house of the country. We have to be ready for the highest sacrifice,” he added.
“The people of the country are suffering a lot due to price hike. Many are living in starvation and half- starvation. People are unable to practice democracy. Human rights are being violated. Rules of law are absent in the country. Alem-ulemas, top leaders including Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman have been imprisoned for a long time. Jamaat leaders have not been released. Now the state is not a democratic state. Jamaat leaders will be released by a strong movement against this fascist government In-Sha-Allah,” Maulana Masum further added.
He called upon to all to play a strong role against the oppression of the government.
Nazim Uddin Mollah, assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North and chair of the program, welcomed all the participants of the program.
