A coordination meeting was held between Jamaat Dhaka City North and Jamaat Dhaka City South in order to implement a peaceful procession and rally at the north gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on June 10. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South called for a peaceful procession and rally demanding a free, fair and inclusive election under caretaker government, demanding the immediate and unconditional release of all alem-ulemas, national leaders including Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, demanding the control of price hike. The meeting was held at an auditorium in the capital on June 8.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the meeting. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa, Jamaat Dhaka City South Nayeeb-e-Ameer Abdur and member of central Mojlish-e-Shura Sobur Fakir, advocate Dr. Helal Uddin, Jamaat Dhaka City South secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Jamaat Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim also spoke in the meeting. Delware Hossain, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City South, Kamal Hossain, Mahfuzur Rahman, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Nazim Uddin Mollah, Dr. Fakharuddin Manik, engineer Sheikh Al-amin, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura, Abdus Salam, member of working committee of Jamaat Dhaka City South, Dr. Mubarak Hossain, Abu Wafi, Sirazul Islam, Ataur Rahman Sarker, member of working committee of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Shaheen Ahammed, member of Mojlish-e-Shura of Jamaat Dhaka City South and others were also present in the meeting.
