Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim urged the capable, kind-hearted and wealthy people of the society to work together for the welfare of the disenfranchised and underprivileged people including the victims of natural calamities.
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing tins among the victims of cyclone Mocha. Luxmipur city branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami arranged the ceremony. City Ameer Muhammad Abul Farah Nishan presided over the ceremony. Maulana Shamsul Hossain, member of Mojlish-e-Shura and working committee of Luxmipur city branch, Bhabanigong union secretary Maksudur Rahman, assistant secretary Imtiaz Ahammed Bulbul, Laharkandi union secretary Maulana Belal Hossain, Kabir Hossain, president of Piarapur Unnayan Forum, Shibir municipal south president Al-Amin, Belal Hossain Mohon and others were also president in the ceremony.
“Jamaat is a pro-people, welfare oriented, idealist and constitutional political organization. It has been working for the welfare of the endangered people since its establishment. Jamaat plays a role of vanguard and tries to reduce the miseries of victims in any crisis moment. We have come here to assist the victims of Mocha. Jamaat wants to turn the country into an Islamic state on the basis of The Holy Quran and Hadith. If the laws of Quran and Sunnah are established in the state, the state will solve all the problems of the citizens,” Dr. M R Karim added.
He called upon all to work together to establish an Islamic state in the country.
“Government has destroyed all the constitutional institutions in the country to prolong their illegal power. They have been blamed both nationally and internationally for vote rigging. The USA government have imposed a set of new laws of VISA policy for Bangladeshis. They want to arrange an election of fake and vote rigging again. But their dream will never be succeeded,” he further added.
City secretary called upon the government to resign. He also urged the government to hand over power to caretaker government. Otherwise, they have to suffer a lot.
