K M Azizul Haque, word secretary and member (Rokon) of Mohammadpur thana north of Jamaat Dhaka City North of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, passed away at 8:15pm yesterday (Saturday) on May 27 in a private hospital of Dhaka under treatment – Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun. He was undergoing treatment in this hospital till his death after suffering a sudden stroke. He was 63. He left his wife, 3 sons, relatives and many well-wishers at the time of death.
The deceased’s first burial prayer was held at 12:00 am at Babar road and second burial prayer at 9:00am in Shariatpur. He was buried at their family graveyard. A large number of common people including Jamaat-Shibir leaders participated in the burial prayer of the deceased.
Message of condolence
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa and secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of K M Azizul Haque.
In a joint condolence message, expressing deep shock and sorrow the two leaders said, “The deceased was the frontline fighter of Islamic movement. He dreamt to establish an Islamic welfare state in the country on the basis of justice.”
City leaders prayed to the court of Almighty Allah for eternal peace of the departed soul. They also conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
