Engineer Golam Nabi Manik, central secretary of Engineers and Architects Forum, died today at 12:00pm in Bangladesh Medical College Hospital under treatment (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun). He was suffering from various physical complications including brain tumor for a long time. He was 60. He left wife, 3 daughters, relatives and many well-wishers.
The deceased’s first burial prayer will be held at the mosque of Islamic Education Society of sector no. 5 of Uttara at 7:00pm today evening. He will be buried at their family graveyard after the second burial prayer.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa and secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Golum Nabi Manik.
In a joint message, expressing deep shock and sorrow the two leaders said, “The deceased was the frontline fighter of Islamic movement. He dreamt to establish an Islamic welfare state in the country on the basis of justice.”
City leaders prayed to the court of Almighty Allah for eternal peace of the departed soul. They also conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
