Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa said, “Everywhere is full of people’s griefs and sorrows. The deprived and oppressed people are waiting for release. The country is passing through a critical situation.”
“The Islamic movement in the country is crossing a serious critical period. The activists of Islamic movement have been tortured and oppressed. Nobody is safe in the country. Women, children, aged people all are suffering. No nation can go ahead in this way. Change is needed for release,” he on Saturday said these as the chief guest while speaking at an Eid reunion program at Kafrul in the capital.
“Islam is a universal code of life. Muslims are the world winners. The Muslims have to gain the qualification to lead the globe. For this reason, Jamaat has imposed manifesto to change the norms and cultures of the society. We want to change the norms of the society according to The Quran and Hadith. For this, at first we have to change ourselves. We have to be real believers,” acting Ameer added.
Kafrul thana west of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the program. Thana Ameer Abdul Matin Khan presided over the program. Thana secretary Muhammad Atique Hasan conducted it. Lasker Muhammad Taslim, central vice-president of Labor Welfare Federation, was the special guest. Muhammad Shahidullah, member of Shura and working committee of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Labor leader Selim Uddin Khalifa, Neser Uddin, member of working committee of Kafrul thana west, Muhammad Dalil and others were also president in the program.
“Islam is a complete code of life. There is no other better work as to establish Islam in the soil of Allah. If we want to lead the globe, we have to be perfect believers. We have to lead our lives according to the laws of Allah. If we play an active role to establish Islam, Allah will help us,” Lasker Muhammad Taslim added.
“The joy of Eid teaches us brotherhood. It also teaches us to play active role to establish Islam in the soil of Allah,” Shahidullah added.
“The greater Kafrul-Mirpur is the fertile soil for Islamic movement. It’s a soil of many martyrs including martyred Mir Kashem Ali, AKM Nazir Ahamme. Labor and sacrifice of many brothers played an important role to establish the foundation of Islamic movement in this soil,” Matin Khan added as the chair.
