Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim urged the wealthy, capable and kind hearted people of the society to come forward to make Eid joyful and festive to all including underprivileged people for the upcoming Eid.
He today afternoon said these as the chief guest while distributing Eid items among under privileged people at an auditorium of Tejgaon of the capital. Tejgaon thana south of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North arranged the program. Thana Ameer Engineer Noman Ahammedi chaired the program. Ataur Rahman Sarker, publicity editor and member of working committee of Jamaat Dhaka City North, was the special guest. Thana office secretary Dr. Sayed taufiqul Islam and others were also present in the program.
“Jamaat is a pro-people, benevolent, idealist and constitutional political organization. It has been working for the welfare of mass people, social development and for the sake of humanity since its establishment. Jamaat has been playing a significant role to reduce the miseries of mass people. Jamaat want to establish a welfare state on the basis of the light of The Quran and Hadith. If the laws of The Holy Quran is established in the state, the state will solve all problems of citizens,” Dr. M R Karim added.
He called for all to work together to establish a welfare state.
“The goal of Islam is to serve human being. We are distributing Eid items among marginalized people as part of the welfare of people,” he added.
City secretary urged all leaders and activists of the society to come forward to reduce the miseries of endangered people.
