Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Sayed Abdullah Muhammad Taher said, “The real teaching of the holy month of Ramadan is to acquire fear of Allah (Takwa). Acquiring fear of Allah (Takwa) means faith to Allah. It helps us to be innocent. We can gain Heaven acquiring fear of Allah (Takwa). So, we have to determine our future works using the real teachings of the holy month of Ramadan. He urged to all to work together using wisdom, competency and knowledge in the field to establish a society based on justice.”
He today said these as the chief guest while speaking at a virtual Eid reunion program with all manpower of Kafrul area (Constituency Dhaka-15) of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North in the capital. Fakharuddin Manik – assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North – member of central Mojlish-e-Shura – director of Jamaat Kafrul area, presided over the program. Professor Muhammad Izzatullah, member of central executive council, was the special guest. Jamaat Dhaka City North acting Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa and secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim also spoke. Laskar Muhammad Taslim, vice president Labor Welfare Federation, Mahfuzur Rahman, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Abdullah-al-Mamun, president of Shibir Dhaka City West and others also delivered their speeches in the program.
“Election is a ballot war. Public participation should be increased if we want to bring the result favor. Electoral character, therefore, is pro-people character. The activities of Dawah should be increased if we want to make our beloved leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman victorious in this seat. For this reason, every activist should go to every house. If we are able to make the organization pro-people, we will be able to be victorious in this seat,” Dr. Sayed Taher added.
“Eid-al-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha are the national festivals of Muslim Ummah. Eid-al-Fitr comes to us with joy of message after the month of Ramadan. Eid gives us Ummah concept. The measure of our success and failure is the extent to which we have been able to claim the right to fasting free from corruption, arbitrariness, and irregularities by adopting ethics. We have to self-criticize,” professor Muhammad Izzatullah added.
“We have many memories in Mirpur, a memory of pain, agony and inspiration. Mir Kashem Ali who lived here has been martyred. Veteran politician Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will compete from this seat,” Abdur Rahman Musa added.
“Professor A K M Nazir Ahammed was buried in this soil. He played a major role in shaping the Islamic movement. We are the protectors of this soil. We have to save this,” he further added.
“We need to make all aware of the humanitarian and welfare mission we are working on. Our highest efforts should be used. Our victory will be ensured In-Sha-Allah,” Dr. Rezaul Karim added.
“We have to go forward ignoring all obstacles,” Dr Fakharuddin Manik added. He called for the activists to be more patient so that they can sacrifise more to make the Islamic movement victorious.
