Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North acting Ameer and member of central working committee Abdur Rahman Musa urged to all to work together to build us a society of peace and the welfare of endangered people based on justice free from hunger and poverty using the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr in real life.
He today said these as the chief guest while speaking at a virtual discussion meeting and Eid reunion program titled ‘The teachings of the holy month of Ramadan’ in the capital. Jatirjheel east thana of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the program. Thana Ameer advocate Zillur Rahman Azmir chaired the program. Thana secretary Khandaker Ruhul Amin conducted it. Hemayet Hossain, member of working committee of Jamaat Dhaka City North and Hatirjheel zone director, was the special guest. Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker, publicity editor of Jamaat Dhaka City North, members of martyred families Masud saydee, Ali Ahammed Mabrur, Hasan Moudud Mollah, thana Shibir president Mazharul Islam Nadim were also present in the program. Singer Moshiur Rahman, Nazrul Islam and Lokman Zual sang songs in the program.
“The month of Ramadan is the best month in the Arabic year. ‘The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Saum (fasts) that month’. We all have to keep the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan. We will work together to establish a society based on the ideals of The Holy Quran,” the chief guest added.
“The path of Islamic movement was never easy; not today. Those who invited people to the path of Islam throughput ages had to suffer a lot by evil forces. Even the Prophets had to suffer a lot. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was tortured and oppressed. Re-arresting Mia Golum Parwar, secretary general of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, from jail gate, the government has proved that they do not believe in the rules of laws and democracy,” he further added.
He demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all national leaders including Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and secretary general Mia Golun Parwar.
“The conflict of right and wrong is the eternal clash of human civilization. So, lies must be repelled by truth. We have to build up a world free from lies, peace, progress and truth,” Zillur Rahman added. He called for all to work together to build up a world free from all types of anarchies.
