Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim urged all to be united to turn the country into a welfare state and to establish a people representative government.
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing sewing machines, hand cash and food packets among the helpless and poor families at an auditorium in the capital on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Uttara east thana of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North arranged the program. Thana Ameer and member of Mojlish-e-Shura of Jamaat Dhaka City North Mahfuzur Rahman presided over the program. Thana secretary Hamidul Haque conducted it. Uttara east thana former Ameer and member of Mojlish-e-Shura of Jamaat Dhaka City North Mahbubul Alam was the special guest in the program. Thana Nayeeb-e-Ameer Sultan Ahammed, thana finance secretary Jahangir Hossain and others were also present in the program.
“If people are self-reliant then, the country and the nation are self-reliant. Jamaat as a pro-people and welfare political party is trying to make the under privileged people self-reliant. Fron this continuation, we are today distributing sewing machines, hand cash and food packets to make the under privileged people sefl- reliant. If someone is benefited by our small effort, we will think our labour has been successful,” he added.
He called forth all to be self-reliant.
“State will solve all the problems of citizens. Citizens pay taxes and obey to the state but a welfare state is not established in the country for this reason people are being deprived of the facilities of the state. Jamaat has been trying to establish a happy, prosperous, poverty free, pro-people, self-reliant, public representative and welfare state since its establishment. If we are able to build up a welfare state then, state will solve all the problems of the citizens In-Sha-Allah,” he also added.
He urged all irrespective of party, religion, thought, caste, class and profession to come forward to build up a dream Bangladesh. City secretary also called forth the anti-people failed government to handover power to caretaker government immediately. Otherwise, people will oust them.
“The holy month of Ramadan is the month of blessings and mercy. Allah has ordered mankind to observe fasting. Observing fasting is mandatory. But moral degradation has been institutionalised in our society and the state during the reign of ruling government. Millions of dollars have been laundered from our country. Most of the people live under poverty line. The prices of daily essentials have been decreased in many countries of the globe on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan but out rules of country are different. Here the prices of daily necessities are increased. Now there is no alternative but the laws of Allah,” he again added.
He urged all to come forward to build up a prosperous Bangladesh under the banner of Jamaat.
