Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “Jamaat will materialise the dreams of martyrs of Anti-discrimination student mass movement in building a discrimination-free and humanitarian country.”
He today made the remarks as the chief guest while addressing a view-exchange meeting at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in the capital’s Agargaon. Jamaat Dhaka City North unit arranged the function.
Central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammed Selim Uddin was the chair while central working committee member and secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim conducted it. Jamaat’s nayeb-e-Ameer Dr. Sayed Abdullah Muhammad Taher, BNP’s standing committee’s member Salahuddin Ahammad, Jamaat’s secretary general professor Mia Golum Parwer, assistant secretary general Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Dhaka City South unit’s Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul, 12 alliance party chief former minister Mustafa Jamal Haidar, LDP’s secretary general and former minister Dr. Redwan Haidar, Khalafat’s Mojlish secretary general Dr. Ahammad Abdul Kader, NPP’s chairman Fariduzzaman Farhad, SM Farhad, a coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, Bangladesh Labor party’s chairman Dr. Mustafizur Rahman Iran, Gono Odhikar Parishad’s secretary Farukh Hasan, National Democratic Party’s representative Rashed Prodhan, Gono Odhikar Parishad’ (Nur) secretary Rashad Khan, Jamaat’s central executive council member Saiful Alam Khan spoke as the special guests.
Jamaat’s nayeb-e-Ameer professor Mujibur Rahman, assistant secretary general Maulana ATM Masum, AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad, Maulana Abdul Halim, central publicity secretary advocate Motiur Rahman Akand, central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, Engineer Golum Mustafa, South’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdus Sabur Fakhir, central Mojlish-e-shura member Mahfuzur Rahman, Nazim Uddin Molla, Dr. Fakharuddin Manik, Delware Hossain, Kamal Hossain among others were present.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman remembered the martyrs of Anti-discrimination student movement. He addressed the Shaheeds of students-led mass movement as Heroes.
Jamaat chief conveyed sympathy to the injured.
The martyrs of July-august Revolution are our national Heroes. The courage of student-led mass movement will be written in golden letters in the history of Bangladesh, Jamaat’s humanitarian Ameer further added.
Jamaat’s Ameer claimed, they have contacted with martyr families.
Committing genocide, Sheikh Hasina and her agents, fled to India. They should be brought to justice, Sayed Abdullah Muhammad Taher demanded.
Awami League banned all parties and established BaKSAL in 1975. They destroyed democracy of the country. Awami League engaged in enforced disappearances, extra-judicial killings, judicial killings, torture, abduction. They do not believe in democracy, Salahuddin Ahammad alleged.
Martyrs never die. They live forever, added Jamaat’s secretary general professor Mia Golum Parwer.
He urged everyone to stay united to face the conspiracies of fallen dictator.
