Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim called upon the wealthy, capable and kind-hearted persons to come forward to make the underprivileged people self-reliant.
He today said these as the chief guest while distributing sewing machines among marginalized people in order to create employment and alleviate poverty at an auditorium in the capital. Uttara Model of Jamaat Dhaka City North arranged the program. Thana Ameer advocate Ibrahim Khalil presided over the program. Thana secretary Bodiuzzaman Bokul conducted it. Thana office secretary Osman Goni Zuel, Abdul Aziz and other locals were also present in the program.
This BaKSAL government has been hindering the political activities of Jamaat for 15 years though observing demonstrations, rallies and processions are the fundamental and constitutional rights of every citizen. The government did not grant the plea of Jamaat Dhaka City South. Jamaat Dhaka City South wanted to observe a peaceful demonstration and rally on June 5. This proves the government
does not believe the rules of laws, democracy and democratic values.
He strongly condemned and protested this fascist behavior of the government. He urged the government to make level playing field for the opposition. Otherwise, people will take control ignoring all obstacles of the government.
The real teaching of Islam is to do well for the mass people. Jamaat is a pro- people, welfare and idealist constitutional political organization. Jamaat has been working for the welfare of mass people since its establishment. Jamaat wants to establish a welfare state on the basis of The Holy Quran and Sunna.
He urged all irrespective of parties and thoughts to work together to build up a welfare state.
